Holder of an Ontario B License, Dom came to the Fury in 2003 after serving 3 years as a Staff Coach and Assistant Coach with the EODSA District Program. Over the years, he has helped numerous players go on to play for NCAA and CIS schools, as well as aiding in the development of Fury players who have since appeared for their countries’ National Teams. Dom is currently completing the first year of his Professional Coaching License with the Argentinean Soccer Coaches Association (ATFA), recognized by FIFA as the highest coaching license offered internationally.
In 2011, Dom was hired as the fifth W-League Head Coach in franchise history, while continuing his duties as Technical Director for the Youth Girls' program for a second year. In his first season as W-League Head Coach, Dom led the team to a 12-0-0 regular season record, to a Great Lakes Division title, to a Regular season title, to a Central Conference title, and to within one win of a W-League Championship, and finished with a 15-1-0 record for the season. Under Dom's leadership and guidance, Teresa Rynier (Assists Leader), Jasmine Phillips (best GAA, All Conference Team), Jessica Shufelt (All Conference team, All League team), Amanda Fancher (All Conference Team, All League Team, Defender of the Year), Mallory Outerbridge (Most Goals, Most Points, All Conference Team, All League Team, W-League MVP), all picked up top awards from the USL. In addition to these awards, Dom was also named the USL W-League Coach of the Year.
In 2010, Dom assumed a new role with the Fury by accepting a position as Technical Director for the Youth Girls’ program. Dom was also the Assistant Coach for the Ottawa Fury’s W-League team for the fifth consecutive season. He helped lead the W-League team to a Great Lakes Division Title, and to a Central Conference Finals appearance.
In 2009, Dom was the Assistant Coach for the Ottawa Fury’s W-League team for the fourth consecutive season. He helped lead the W-League team to a Great Lakes Division Title, a Central Conference Championship, and a W-League Semi-Finals appearance. Dom also led the Ottawa Fury U17 Girls to a SYL North American Finals appearance.
In 2008, Dom was the Assistant Coach for the Ottawa Fury’s W-League team for his third season. He helped lead the W-League team to a Northern Division Title and to the Central Conference Finals. Dom also led the Ottawa Fury U16 Girls to a US National Cup Region 1 Championship and a US National Cup Finals appearance. The U16 Girls also qualified for the SYL North American Finals where they reached the semi-finals of the National tournament.
In 2007, Dom led the Ottawa Fury U17 Girls to their second consecutive New England Division Title, an undefeated season, and to a Super Y League Finals appearance. Dom was also the assistant coach to the Ottawa Fury W-League team, which finished the 2007 W-League season undefeated, won the Northern Division Title, and reached the Eastern Conference Finals. Dom also represented the Ottawa Fury and Canada at the 2007 Super Y League Olympic Development Program National Camp as a Staff Coach.
In 2006, Dom led the Ottawa Fury U16 Girls to the New England Division Title and to a Super Y League Finals appearance. Dom was named the 2006 Ottawa Fury Coach of the Year and was also the assistant coach to the Ottawa Fury W-League team, who were Northern Division Champions, Eastern Conference Champions, and W-League finalists.
In 2005, Dom led the Ottawa Fury U16 Girls to the New England Division Title, the Super Y League Finals in which they were semi-finalists, to a US National Cup Region A Championship, and to a US National Cup Finals appearance. Dom also joined the Fury W-League team as an assistant coach.
In 2004, Dom led the Ottawa Fury U15 Girls to a US National Cup Region A Championship, and to a US National Cup Finals appearance in which they finished 3rd.
In 2003, Dom joined the Ottawa Fury as an assistant coach in the Club's Youth Program.
During his time with the District Program, 16 players were identified by the OSA, with four eventually making the Provincial Program, 2 serving as Provincial Team Captains, and 1 appearing for Canada.
At the club level, Dom was the Assistant Coach of the Nepean Hotspurs Lightning, which reached the semi-finals of the Ontario Indoor Cup, the quarter-finals of the Ontario Cup, participated in the Ontario Summer Games, and finished the 2001 ERSL season without a loss in league play.
