Janek's coaching career has been shared between Ottawa and the East Coast. In his time spent in Nova Scotia he was the Head Coach for the Cape Breton University Winter Development Program and worked with the Regional U12 Boys & Girls teams. Janek began his coaching career with the Osgoode-Rideau Winter Development Program and has also held his own summer soccer camps in the past. He holds a Pre-B Coaching Licence and is now in his 3rd year with the Fury.
His playing career includes 5 years at Cape Breton University, as well as time spent with local clubs Osgoode-Rideau, Gloucester Hornets, and most recently the Ottawa Royals.
