 USL W-LEAGUEExceptional competitive women's soccer lives in the USL W-League, USL's highest level of women's soccer in the US and Canada. The 2006 campaign features a 38-team format in four conferences playing 12 or 14 regular season matches. The top women's players throughout the world compete in the USL W-League through the summer months. In addition to the league featuring international and former professional stars, elite collegiate players have the opportunity to also compete in the league while maintaining their collegiate eligibility. The league is recognized throughout the world for providing elite competition for women's players, while providing affordable family entertainment to many fans in each of the team locations.

|  Gillian Baggott, a graduate from the Fury Youth Development Program, has been invited to attend a Canadian U20 National Team training camp in Indiana from April 26th to May 4th. Baggott will be joined by two familiar faces – former Fury W-League goalkeeper Erin McNulty (2005-7) and midfielder Mallory Outerbridge (2006) plus new Fury W-League signing Adrienne Ruhe-Lischke. The training camp is in preparation for the selection of the Canadian squad to participate in the CONCACAF qualifying tournament for the FIFA World U20 championships which be held later this year in Chile.

Fury Striker Alex Valerio cracks Portuguese Squad
Ottawa player joins U-19 squad for games with Italy and Norway | | | | |
|  After attending a recent training camp, Fury Youth Development Program graduate Alex Valerio has been selected to represent Portugal in qualifying games for the 2008 UEFA European U-19 Women's Championship. Portugal is scheduled to play Italy on April 24th, Norway on April 26th and the Ukraine on the 29th of April. Alex will join the squad for the first two games but will return for examinations at Princeton and will be unavailable for the final game against Ukraine.
